2024年9月1日、私が初めてGoogleの画像生成AI「ImageFX」に触れたときの興奮を、今でも鮮明に覚えています。あれから2年。私の画像生成の主軸は、現在の「Google Flow」へと移行しました。
この数年間の進化は、単なる「アップデート」という言葉では片付けられません。まさに劇的であり、クリエイターとして感動を覚えるレベルの発展を遂げています。
かつては思い通りの絵を出すために、プロンプトの記述に膨大な試行錯誤が必要でした。しかし現在のFlow、そして私が日々愛用している「Nano Banana」モデルは、画像生成の難易度と表現力の限界を同時に塗り替えてくれました。
この記事では、日々このツールを使い倒しているユーザーの一人として、現在のFlowが到達した「生成画質の圧倒的な高み」とその魅力を、具体的なアプローチとともにお伝えします。
本題に入る前に、興味ある記録を残しておこうと思います。
次のモノクローム画像は私が初めて生成したAI画像の一作目、2024年9月1日、公開直後のGoogle ImageFXで生成しました。
プロンプトは多くの情報から学び、なんとか書き上げました。
よく見ると、黒い部分が潰れ、白飛びも目立ちます。背景も精細さが弱く、芝居の書き割りといった印象さえ拭えません。プロンプトで敢えて指定したルネッサンス様式の屋内装飾についても、かなり不十分な表現に留まっています。
それでも当時はAI画像生成の威力に驚き、可能性に期待感が膨らみました。
そして次の画像です。
2026年8月14日にNano Banana Proで生成した画像が次の一枚です。
ここでは一枚目とまったく同じプロンプトを使っています。
不完全そのもののプロンプトですが、まあ、当時の私には精一杯の記述でした。
その不完全なプロンプトを進化した最新のプラットフォームで試してみようというわけです。
それでもNano Banana Proは寛大に解釈してくれたようです。
背景のルネッサンス様式の建造物、窓から差し込む光の粒子感、被写体の躍動感など、ImageFXからNano Bananaへと、この2年間で劇的に進化したモデルの威力を見せつけられた思いです。

記事のタイトルにあるように、このプロンプトでは

さらに5枚目ではプロントS.C.A.L.S様式に再構築してNano Banana Proで出力を試みました。
Nano Banana2 Light
サーバーの混雑状態に左右されることはあっても、出力に要する時間は早いです。
出力結果を見て感じることは全体の空気感がImage FX時代に似ているような印象です。
さらに顕著なことが背景の賑やかなこと。プロンプトにない要素まで描き加えています。同様のことはNano Banana 2でも言えることです。
この画像は一発出しですが、すべての要素に破綻は見られません。
Nano Banana 2
Nano Banana2 Light同様、右下のファイアースペースの赤い火のように、プロンプトにない要素がかなり描かれています。ソファーの毛布状の布地、本で首をくくっているカメラのレンズといったように乱雑な要素が目立ちます。光の効果から感じるのは秘密めいた濃密な空間表現といったところでしょう。
Nano Banana Pro
妙な表現ですが、さすが「Pro」の仕事です。次の2枚にはプロンプトに含まれている要素だけが、的確に構図化されています。ここには過剰さはなく、実際に暮らしていても不思議ではない、そんな屋内空間が表現されています。この特性をさらにミニマリスト的な方向で生かしてくと、もっと現代的でスマートな表現を引き出せるのではないかと思います。
Nano Banana Pro [S.C.A.L.I.S.]
さらに2年前のプロンプトを以下のようにS.C.A.L.I.S形式に整理してNano Banana Proで生成。
ここで顕著なことは「カメラ・レンズ指定」がかなり効いていることでしょう。
LUMIX S1RII + LUMIX S PRO 50mm F1.4（s-x50）は長いこと愛用していますが、カメラ特有のISO耐性の高さ、LUMIX S PRO 50mm F1.4の浮き立つような被写体の立体表現力がたしかに反映されているとようです。
物質の質感、光の物理的な特性など、ダイナミックレンジが広く、人間の視覚と比べても違和感が感じられません。美しい出力だと感じます。
残念ことはこの出力に限らずNano Banana Proは平均すると「微小な白い引っ掻き傷」のようなノイズが入ることです。これは拡大表示した時にかなり煩く目立つ欠点だと思います。
